Surprisingly similar players and both in the final year of their contracts, we thought it would be a fun exercise to look at Brodie and Hamonic. Brodie obviously has struggled in terms of monumental giveaways at inopportune times BUT much of the underlying data suggest he is an elite defender.  Hamonic is often praised as a steady, stay at home d-man, but what is he actually? One thing we did agree on:  both are amazing dudes that the city of Calgary is lucky to have.
