Wildlife Conversations welcomes documentary filmmaker Alex Stavrou and wildlife photographer Evan Watts to discuss the new documentary, 399 Forever.

In a world full of social media, influencers, and photographers, how did this affect Grizzly 399 and her fame and at what price? Alex explores bear viewing in this new age and some of the Greater Yellowstone photographers and guides who know her story and how it’s affected their careers, their photography, adaptation, conservation, and their own lives. 

We hear from wildlife photographer and YouTuber Evan Watts, as well, and learn more about his participation in the documentary. Evan also shares some of his beautiful work with us, including the iconic image of Grizzly 399 and Spirit on the day they emerged from the den.
