On this episode of American Real, Roger asks Dan how the concept of his book came to be. "I'm originally from the Midwest, and I started in broadcast journalism... the communication parts of it kind of comes naturally for me," Dan says. "One of the things that we center on... is the fact that there is no such thing as normal. We're all different. We've all got our unique quips, our uniqueness. And the question is, do we look upon them as positive or negative?"
