Paul prayed that the Ephesians would “comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height.” He gave no object of these four dimensions, but it strongly suggests a building! Bro. Jeff Dodson returns for the first of a four-part series that examines the Hebrew words for wisdom, worship, knowledge, and prayer: four sides or walls of a habitation of God. We begin with the word worship. Is God preparing His saints for eternal worship in the New Jerusalem?

Takeaway:

We have an inheritance in Christ, the same one Abraham looked for: a heavenly city whose builder and maker is God. Abraham demonstrated true worship in that he humbled himself and was obedient to what God told him to do. We ask, “When did music become worship?” This question brings home the point that worship today has ventured far from what God intended. God gave us the first use example to follow. Are we willing to change our thinking? Lord willing, the next time Jeff returns to talk with us, we will explore one of three other dimensions: wisdom, knowledge, and prayer.
