Welcome to Daily Growth Point, I’m Pastor John Bingham.
Throughout history, many Christians courageously stood for truth even when they were unpopular.
Some endured ridicule, opposition, and hardship because they refused to compromise their convictions.
Roger Williams was a Puritan minister who was banished from the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1635 for advocating religious freedom and the fair treatment of Native Americans. He went on to found Rhode Island as a haven for religious tolerance.
Throughout American History, faithful Christians have often stood against cultural pressure. Ephesians 6:13 encourages us, “Having done all, to stand.”
Character is revealed most clearly when standing for truth becomes costly. In our own generation, believers must lovingly but courageously remain faithful to God’s Word.
