Aaron Taylor is one of the best college football players ever. He was inducted into the college football hall of fame in ‘21. Taylor was selected 16th overall to the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 1994 NFL draft. He played in two Super Bowls with the Packers, winning SBXXXl. During his time in Green Bay he blocked and learned from one of the greatest players to ever play the game, Brett Farve. He earned a second contract with the then ‘San Diego’ Chargers. After battling knee injuries, Taylor stepped away from the game after the 1999 NFL season. Since retiring from football Taylor founded the prestigious Joe Moore Award given to the best offensive line group in college football, the only major award given to a group rather than an individual.
In this episode, AT beautifully articulates his incredible story. From getting kicked out of the house at 14 to battling drug & alcohol addiction, Taylor’s story was not without hardship. He vulnerably shares his journey through these valleys, while providing practical wisdom for building resiliency in our own lives.
