The last time we read these passages the world was a completely different place.

So what has changed? How can we talk about the goodness of God in a time of pandemic - we’re far from out of the woods - and over the last year we have seen loss, trauma, suffering experienced across the globe.

So how do these verses help us understand God’s goodness when there is so much to mourn? How do we deepen the response beyond the superficial?
