“Job shined as the world was watching.” Yes he did! Through all of the  suffering, Job remained faithful to the Lord, and he remained faithful as a friend. We are continuing our podcast series “Standing in the Gap” focusing in on some of the amazing intercessors in the Bible. Today Stacy welcomes Roger Rock, a member of the Moms in Prayer International Board of Directors, to the podcast.  Listen in as he shares what we can learn from Job’s example that will help us persevere in prayer even in times of suffering.

Roger Rock has been a Christ follower since childhood.  He is also business man and considers it a privilege to serve on the Moms in Prayer International Board of Directors.  He and his lovely wife Kendra live in beautiful Oklahoma.  They have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren that are the joy of their lives.

We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.  James 5:11 (NLT)
