A year after Kolide released Honest Security, the issues that were covered in the manifesto remain, but how have they made it to the market? Much of this story can be told through the eyes of Harlie Hardage, a senior security specialist at 1Password who helped bring Kolide to the company in 2021. Having found the values of Honest Security were so well aligned with the strict values at 1Password (autonomy, responsibility, and kindness), it was an easy decision to make.
