From a council estate upbringing to retiring from medicine at 46, Dr Andrew Threadgold’s journey is anything but ordinary. After earning his place at St Bartholomew’s and excelling in both surgical and GP training, Andrew became a GP practice partner and Clinical Director of an Out of Hours organisation. But it was a career-defining challenge—a GMC investigation—that sparked his pivot into entrepreneurship.

Now, Andrew is a multi-business owner with ventures spanning healthcare, property, and security. He’s built a multimillion-pound property portfolio, acquired a private physiotherapy clinic, a 23-bedroom hotel, and Norwich’s fast-growing security firm, Security Solutions Yes Ltd. Managing over 50 staff and six-figure monthly overheads, Andrew has mastered the art of scaling businesses while navigating life’s inevitable setbacks.
