Hello ModernJeepers, welcome to Episode Number 25 of The ModernJeeper Show… the show about Jeeps, Jeeping and Jeepers.

This week, in a very rare occurrence, Corey is not calling in from the road, but is actually in studio with Matson at Metalcloak World Headquarters in Northern California. 

After covering where we’ve been and what Corey’s upcoming CTI Tour Schedule is like (it’s crazy) we are joined by Metalcloak’s media director, and ModernJeeper partner, Scott Becker to talk about the Rubicon trail, Jeepers Jamboree, skateboarding, ultralight backpacking and our upcoming ModernJeeper Adventure on the Rubicon Trail. 

And then an unexpected guest crashes the party as Milestar’s Martin Castro just happened to show up at the shop while we were recording the podcast and we couldn’t let him go without bringing him into the conversation.

Martin shares with us what he’s doing in Northern California, why the Patagonia’s perform so well, how the Patogonia’s are easily overcoming the consumer skepticism, why they are going to be the first company with a 40” All Terrain tire for the light truck market and when they are going to have a 42” MT.

And, of course, we have another great Tech Tip of the Week. This week we discuss managing & choosing the extra equipment, tools and spare parts you need when on trail.
