About Iris Maria
Iris Maria, also known as Mommy Mika, has always been passionate about organizing unique events, mainly specializing in children's birthdays dating all the way back to 2010 in the Philippines. She spent her career in sales and marketing for over 15 years in the travel, fashion, business consulting, events, and pharmaceutical industries. A mother of two, and a former owner of IStyle Your Event PH, she firmly believes in the positive transformative power of birthdays for children. She would always be involved in community service and charitable work back in her home country. She did this through feeding programs and doing some birthdays for a cause in partnership with other charity foundations and poor communities.
Every year on her daughter's birthday, Iris and her family would travel back home and celebrate with the children of a charity foundation. Since that year they couldn’t uphold their tradition, they decided to give three free birthdays to children in Dubai instead. They chose kids whose families were experiencing difficult times due to the pandemic. Those three birthdays ended up turning into thirty-two and this is where the mission of Birthday Bliss was born.

We want to spread the birthday cheer all over the world. If that is a high target to do so, then let’s just aim high, so that is basically our goal”.
“I know how important it is for the kids if it’s a birthday, aside from Christmas or Al Eid, it is the most important celebration of the year, so I know that it has a positive transformative power for their well-being. It will construct their values, their way of giving back to the community, their traits, the way that they would deal with other people as well, and this value that I wanted to instill in these children, by celebrating birthdays and passing on that value to the next generations”.
