Show Notes: This episode Nicki and I catch up with one of our favorite writers, and humans- John Ostrander. We met "Uncle John" several years back at MidSouthCon and immediately became friends. He's a legendary comics creator who's worked for Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse, Image, Valiant, as well as First Comics- which was his first comics gig. He's been a playwright, director, actor- and almost a priest..! Just before Covid struck he filmed a cameo scene as Dr. Fitzgibbon for the upcoming "The Suicide Squad" movie by James Gunn, which will be released in theaters and HBO Max on August 6, 2021.
