Not content with the legislature telling grocery stores how many employees they need to man self check out lanes, Lame Duck Newsom has called for a special legislative session to address the high cost of gas in California.  His proposed solution..  tell the refineries how much reserves they must keep.  30 year mortgages stay in the low 6% and high 5% range.
