This time on ScaleUp radio, I speak with Jamie Sleigh, joint owner and CEO of Indeloy IT Solutions.

Indeloy is an IT services business based in Gloucestershire. It was started only three years ago and has already grown into a team of 10 staff with more in the pipeline.

What is interesting in Jamie’s story is how the pandemic created the spark to build the business with his business partner which has grown rapidly. They even had clients phoning up on day one when they announced the launch of their business.

As always, we covered a lot of ground including:

• Building relationships with staff and customers is vital for the growth of the business.
• Ensuring you have weekly check-in reviewing the cash and your finances.
• With the leadership team, ensuring you meet every week to check in with each other is so important as you grow.

This conversation with Jamie is illuminating as he discusses how his passion of putting humans first in his business works. Like building trust with your team is a much about those difficult moments, not just saying “I trust you”. Also, using their three core values of Individual, Dependable & Loyalty to create their business name Indeloy to show how important they are to the whole world.
