One of the most common desires is to feel connected, but usually we are searching for the feeling of being connected externally to a particular person, lover, family member or group of people. 

The desire of feeling connected is so that we do not feel alone in this world, and this could be caused by a fear of facing what comes up for us when we are alone. This could be our thoughts, our beliefs, our painful past, or even our actions. 


But the most important connection is the one you have with yourself and your body. It’s healthy to have time to yourself, in fact it’s necessary for your re-connection to self, your connection to your body, mind and soul.

I talk openly about my personal experience with disconnection and how I was able to reconnect to myself.
