Over 37 years ago, I turned to Christ as my Saviour! Although a child, I remember distinctly the moment that I chose to trust Christ and the pure excitement that accompanied that glorious day!

The Bible uses rich metaphors to describe that moment.

• You have passed from darkness to light.

• You were born again.

• You have been redeemed

• You are adopted into God’s family

These are Joyful exclamations of God’s work in our life.

Pastor Rufus McDaniel tragically lost his youngest son in 1913. As he worked through the loss, he reminded himself that thanks to Christ, he would see his son again! Through his grief, He composed the song, “Since Jesus Came Into My Heart.”

Today, Christians still sing this joyful hymn as a reminder of the Wonderful day of our salvation!
