The solo series called Lies We Are Told returns to analyze a common phrase heard growing up.  The idea that objects can hurt us physically but words should be ignored.  Words just disappear into the air and cannot do any real damage to a person.  Now that she has grown up, Mama D discusses whether or not this childhood statement was actually true.  Or...another lie we were told.
