Steve Riley started in the restaurant business 25+ yrs ago working in every position, different concepts and cities. Along the way, he was on several opening teams & rebounded several struggling stores as a GM. Since leaving operations in 2000 he has been a teacher/curriculum developer at George Brown College, an industry consultant, and he owned a draught service company for four years.
In 2009, Steve proudly passed both his BJCP exam and his Certified Cicerone™ exam where he became the first person in Canada to hold both beer credentials at the same time. He launched www.BetterBeer.com – a Draught Quality Certification Program the same year and has been expanding nationwide ever since!
