Can Nurses Suffer from PTSD?
Yes, some nurses may develop post-traumatic stress disorder. Nurses frequently experience mental, emotional, and physical fatigue in the course of their work. Nursing staff during the COVID-19 epidemic faced increasing workloads and difficult situations. Consequently, many nurses have reported enduring post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms such as worry, difficulty focusing, insomnia, and excessive exhaustion. Trauma counsellors can be helpful resources for nurses suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) who are ready to talk about their experiences. The first step in healing from trauma is recognising any triggers, such as people, places, or events, that may be standing in the way of progress.   "Come with us as we seek solace and new understanding.
