Episode 3: Krobar in the Rye

Ramos Gin Fizz

Tools: shaker, strainer

Glass: highball
1 1/2 oz. gin
1 Tbsp. simple syrup (combine equal parts sugar and water over low heat, stir until dissolved, cool, will keep for weeks in the fridge)
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
1 fresh egg white (pasteurized if you like)
1 oz. heavy cream
3 drops orange flower water
1 oz. club soda, chilled

Combine the gin, syrup, juices, egg white and cream in a shaker. Add the orange flower water and shake until combined. Fill with ice and shake for as long as you can. Keep going. Strain into a highball glass, top with an ounce of chilled club soda, and gently stir. Enjoy!

CORRECTIONS

Paso Robles is considered Central Coast, not Southern California, as I accidentally stated in the podcast. Forgive a transplant!
