Labels can describe us, they can define us, they can inspire us, they can pin us down, they can do and be whatever we make of them.
In this episode I tell you the story of my labels. What they are, where they come from, how I have interacted with them, and how they have influenced me throughout my life.
I’ll be sharing how I went from believing the negative labels other people gave me to believing the new positive labels I gave myself and how I hope to help you do the same thing.
My goal is with this episode is to answer questions like:
What is a label?
What are my labels?
Are labels always bad?
Can we ever remove or dismantle a label?
Or do we focus on awareness and re-framing them?
And, after I am done sharing the story of my labels, I give you some homework to help you start exploring your labels. I give you some questions to get you thinking about where your labels come from and when you started identifying with them because I want you to do the work and start hitting back against your labels just like I did!
