For diagnosis of any pathology insitu, imaging is the most important tool. For diagnosing retinal pathologies, retinal imaging has played a very critical role. It started with introduction of FFA in early 60’s and after a 3 decade hiatus a pathbreaking technology-OCT was introduced in early 90’s.
There have been multiple iteration of OCT, a must have in all ophthalmic practices. In this episode vitreo-retina experts, Dr Preetam Samant,Eye Associates, Mumbai, Dr Unnikrishnan Nair, Chaitanya Eye Hospital, Trivandrum and Dr Sachin Kabra, Scahin Retina Centre, Pune, will discuss and highlight applications of retinal imaging in today’s practice.
