Welcome to Season 3 of Dragonfly Tales, a story podcast for children (and grown ups) of all ages. We are so grateful to all our listeners for their patience - Leo and Emily have been a bit sick with colds - but we're SO glad to be back with a new episode! Our first story this episode is from our guest teller Pyn Stockman. Pyn is a professional storyteller who lives on a boat! She loves fairy tales, folktales, all sorts of stories! Pyn tells at festivals, community events, schools and libraries. She really enjoys using props and masks to bring her stories to life. The story she shares was created with young people in Birmingham as part of the Secret City Arts project and is about Friendship. Our second story is an old tale from Micronesia, a group of Islands in the Pacific Islands. Did you know Mogmog is a real island? Thankfully, there isn't an evil spirit there now! We love how brave the younger sister is in this story. If you would like a SHOUT OUT, or to tell a tale on the podcast, the best thing to do is join the Dragonfly Tales story chat on Facebook. However, if you don't use Facebook, you can email us at
[email protected] and we will try our best to give you a shout out.
And If you would like to donate a little something towards our podcast, we would be so grateful.
