After the terrible discovery high in the mountains, Sheriff Flynn reflects on his past. Dr. Cooper travels to examine a fellow veteran from the Great War, one who bears deep scars, both physical and emotional. Later on, at the town’s Winter Carnival, Hattie overhears some disturbing information regarding the deaths of some local men.
