Off grid living isn't for everyone. No way, no how. However, if you are prepared you can survive days, even weeks off grid when a minor natural disaster occurs. Due to a horrible windstorm we were recently forced to live off grid for 6 days. The windstorm left us with 3 fallen Hemlocks, a power pole snapped in half, no running water, no electricity, and stranded on the mountainside.
In this episode I talk about the experience of living traditionally for 6 days and the work which goes into a traditional life. Let me just say, it was humbling. In addition to this I share with you the things which one should never be without during times like this. I also share what I discovered I can live without. You may be surprised by one of the items.
Make sure to visit my website for a full detailed article as to how to prepare yourself for an emergency off grid life.
