Round 2 of the 2025-26 BKT EuroCup is done and we have five undefeated teams and five winless teams. And one of each are probably two of the bigger stories so far. In Episode 3 of Gone Traveling we look at the big wins by Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse and Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana.
Marco Munno and David Hein review the 2nd round of action, featuring Bourg wasting a 16-point lead but fighting past winless Turk Telekom Ankara. Another big showdown was Cedevita grabbing a big road victory over Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem to improve to 2-0.
We also look at two strong performances - thus coming from Trevion Williams of Bahcesehir College Istanbul and Daron “Fatts” Russell from U-BT Cluj-Napoca. And then we give two surprises, Marco picking Christian Sengfelder from ratiopharm ulm for his showing against Panionios Athens while Dave talks about Patrick Hassan and his shocking performance for Dolomiti Energia Trento.
To close the show, we look ahead at Round 3 with a couple of really big games. Cedevita face Aris Thessaloniki Betsson in a battle of undefeated teams while winless Turk Telekom host Buducnost VOLI Podgorica; and Panionios welcome Bourg.
If you missed the action from Round 2 of the EuroCup or you just enjoy two hoops fans talking about the EuroCup or want to get some great information and tidbits about the league’s teams and players - Gone Traveling is the podcast for you.
