It is 10:45 PM as you are watching another protest news on TV in the break room. You have been on call for over 11 hours and you are finally enjoying a break that you know will be interrupted at any time. Suddenly, your pager went off as you are needed again in the front line. You put on your scrub and personal protective equipment and head for the emergency room. You ask yourself, “When will this end? When will we win this battle?” But, you are not discouraged. You are confident. You know there is a light at the end of this tunnel. You know you will be right there till this battle against the pandemic is won. You are the hero of the front line.
