Debra leads us through the discussion on this long standing emergency situation in both the United States and Canada. We talk about the history of the movement and how its played out differently in Canada and the United States. How does this fit into the larger history of violence against Indigenous women and how the movement is fighting back. We talk about a few different cases and how the history of "Indian Affairs" agencies has played out. What's the weakness of the Truth and Reconciliation Commissions?
