This week the amazing Joelle Riding and I had a chance to chat about giving yourself permission to pivot and change your mind whenever you need to. She expresses that we need to do what is aligned for us and sometimes that changes along the way. You are in the drivers seat, and only YOU decide what is for you and not for you. There is no timeline forcing your decisions, as long as you are true to yourself, everything will reveal itself for your best interest.
Joelle gets vulnerable and shares her journey into doing some much needed soul searching. Through a situation she went through she ended up asking herself, “How the F*ck did you let yourself get here.” Often we attach our self-worth to others, but we are worthy enough just the way we are.
She is grateful for all that she has learned and what brought her here. Joelle reminds us that it’s ok to want a great a life, the life that you envision for yourself is out there, you need to believe that you can receive it and are worthy of it. Having higher standards is a good lesson from the universe to see how great you are. It’s never to late to receive. Life is too short. Dream bigger. Every step you take will get you there.
Joelle is an entrepreneur based in Austin, Texas. After years of working in the restaurant industry, she decided enough was enough and started a travel blog to pursue her passions. She has lived in Cape Town, France, and Belgium, traveled South America for 3 months by herself, and backpacked Southeast Asia. After creating a personal brand from scratch, she found her calling as an entrepreneur, launched a podcast "How Do You Deal With", and founded Dope Magic Co, a Web Design Agency, offering vibrant websites and marketing services.
