UEA Wellbeing Podcast

Episode 31 - Getting Wellbeing Ready for University

Listen Later

This is the first episode back after the summer! Rich & Rach are joined by Gemma Standen the Widening Participation Officer for Mature Students. Drawing on Gemma's experience as a student, and with the students she supports in her role, we discuss what students can be doing to prepare themselves for university with a particular focus on the actions that will support their wellbeing during this transition. Although there is discussion around support for mature students this episode is suitable for all students getting ready to start at UEA.

Please note Study Together will now be running on Thursday's between 1-4pm in the Student Union Bookable Room 6 throughout the autumn term. All UEA students welcome!

Please note that the support for mature students discussed in this podcast may vary from year to year. For up to date information about the support Gem has discussed, visit https://my.uea.ac.uk/departments/recruitment-outreach-events/outreach/mature-students
