From the Gold Rush boomtown that lured fortune-seekers from every continent, to the Beat poets of North Beach and the psychedelic counterculture that turned Haight-Ashbury into a world stage, it’s been an easy mark for songwriters. This week’s show will visit that blend of beauty, grit and idealism with performances for and about San Francisco.
