Happy Father’s Day! This week we unpacked one of the most famous examples of a father's love as we looked at the story of the Prodigal Son. While so much attention is often placed on the lavishness and extravagance with which the lost son lived his life, part of what we learn is that God, our father, is equally lavish and extravagant in the way he shows his love for us. In this way it's actually the father who is the prodigal.
