This is one of those hard conversations that we all need to have, but no one really wants to (us included). Episode 33 continues our “dealing with death” series of Candid Conversations. These episodes are focused on mortality, both for our horses and for us as horse owners.
In this episode, we touch on setting up a will and/or a trust, memorial items, multiple estate planning questions, and more... We are joined by Scott Swafford, the vice president of Good Shepherd Pet Services (which specializes in cremation and memorial services for our animals) and Beth Marks, an estate attorney and horse owner, with years of experience competing, judging, and training as well.
