BIO:
I grew up in small town of Nichols, SC, about an hour from Myrtle Beach. I spent many days riding bikes or fishing with my dad in the rivers and ponds in the area (hence the name Riverbend).
My dad would watch the stock market when he came home from work. I was curious and started asking questions. This inspired me to make my first investment before I was 12 years old.
I went to College of Charleston, where I focused my studies in biology, chemistry, and
business. After graduating in 1996, I was fortunate to be hired as a financial advisor.
I married way above myself, when Iren said “I do” in 2001. In 2004, we were blessed with Elliott, our only child, who’s an avid tennis player and hopes to play college tennis like his mom.
I was the assistant coach of the Myrtle Beach High School tennis team, when in 2019,
after the passing of our legendary head coach Rivers Lynch, I became interim head
coach. The Myrtle Beach Seahawks rallied in the playoffs and won the state
championship. It was such as honor to see these young men play so inspired, for a
man who was known simply by the name, Coach.
Our family enjoys traveling. We travel to Iren’s home country of Bulgaria once a year. Elliott is fluent in Bulgarian. Me? Not so much.
