There's a close person in my life who has spent two decades working with special needs kids in education and has shared with me, "We're all a little bit on the spectrum." I believe that. Yes, we're all special in our own ways, but it's a matter of how we integrate our quirks and differences into our lives – regardless of what anyone else thinks – that can impact our levels of contentment and satisfaction.
