For those of you thinking, wow, it’s been a while since the last LRB episode, you’d be right. Apparently someone forgot to press record during our last recording!

Anyway, let’s gloss over that. This week, following on from our 2017 movies review, we focus on those films nominated in this years Oscars for Best Picture. Are there any stand out winners? We also look in to the new Nintendo Switch, the little known “console” due to be launched in early March. Is it worth the money? What do the launch titles look like? Why did Anthony cancel his pre-order?
