Little Red Block

You thought you’d gotten rid of us, hey?! Well you haven’t!

We are back with an actual topic to talk about along with the usual ramblings, so sit back and soak up our dulcet tones with added puppy whining in the background.

I bet you guys are thinking we must be running out of things to talk about… you’re probably right, but we like talking about what we like talking about!

This week we review some new trailers recently released and look forward to some upcoming movies. This includes an exciting Stephen King double with IT and The Dark Tower.

Fret no longer, we are back!

After what feels like an age, Little Red Block is back with another episode. What with engagements, puppies and stag do’s in Vegas, it’s nice to get back to business as usual.

This week we talk about Vegas, getting around using Uber vs traditional taxis, autonomous transport of the future, and of course, what we’ve been watching of late. I hope you are as happy as we are to be back.

Following on from our last episode, we look back on the winners, losers and controversy at this years Oscars.

Our main topic this week is looking ahead to the release of 5 new, very different, mobile phones; the Nokia 3310, the Blackberry KeyOne, Huawei P10, Moto G5 and LG G6. which ones get our votes, who are the La La Lands and who are the Moonlights?

For those of you thinking, wow, it’s been a while since the last LRB episode, you’d be right. Apparently someone forgot to press record during our last recording!

Anyway, let’s gloss over that. This week, following on from our 2017 movies review, we focus on those films nominated in this years Oscars for Best Picture. Are there any stand out winners? We also look in to the new Nintendo Switch, the little known “console” due to be launched in early March. Is it worth the money? What do the launch titles look like? Why did Anthony cancel his pre-order?

In our previous episode we talked about how much we liked Rogue One, but to be honest that was the best of a bad bunch in 2016. This week we get together to discuss which movies in 2017 are going to be hit or miss. With a raft of comic book movies, remakes and re-imaginings, are we set for another poor cinematic year or will we be surprised.
