The fight for women’s suffrage in Washington was always one step forward, two steps back.  In the 1880s the right was granted, only to be taken away of few years later.
Today’s Guest:
Laura Turner is a local improviser who performs regularly with Jet City Improv and occasionally in other places.  Most recently, she directed the long-form show Very Special Episode.  You can see Laura perform this summer with the Lost Folio, an improvised Shakespeare show at the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival.  She has lived in Seattle just long enough to be considered a native by everyone except actual Seattle natives.
