How would you describe a state that promotes the sexualization and mutilation of young children? Is it evil? Are the proponents of "gender affirming care" just well meaning but misguided? In this week's podcast we discuss a young woman who was told at age 12 by a California school counselor that her anorexia and feelings of depression were caused by her being born in the wrong body. Getting hormone blockers and taking testosterone would help her to cope with her "mental" issues. At age 15 they cut off her breasts. The doctors convinced the parents it was the only way to help her overcome her depression. At age 22 she is now married and has a child. She is scarred for life and has permanent medical issues. She just read an article in which the "Doctor" who preformed her surgery admits in a interview he was just "winging it". All of this was condoned by the State of California.
We discuss all of this and more on this week's Real Talk. Real Talk is the Right Side of Real Estate.
