Description: This case covers the case of The Staircase Killer, who we know as Michael Peterson, who was accused of murdering his second wife, Kathleen Peterson (formerly Hunt, and then Atwater). Mr. Peterson was sent to prison despite a lack of real incriminating evidence. Did he do it? And if he didn’t, who or what killed Kathleen? And was it the same person who killed his family friend, Elizabeth Ratliff, sixteen years prior?
