Brennan is Associate Professor of Old Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. Brennan’s research focuses on the reception history of biblical texts—seeking to understand how communities throughout time have received, interpreted and interacted with the stories of Scriptur

We covered many topics in our discussion, mostly because Daniel brings us closer than any Old Testament book to the time of Jesus. In fact, some of our conversation will air as we get closer to the New Testament, to set the scene for the century leading up to Jesus’ ministry.
