Asad Syrkett is the new Editor-in-Chief of Elle Decor. Recently, he was Deputy Editor at the design and cities website Curbed, where he oversaw the senior editing and reporting staff. He's also held staff positions at Architectural Digest and Architectural Record magazines. Beyond the written word, he has guest-lectured at Harvard's Graduate School of Design, appeared on panels at South By Southwest and Design Miami, and co-hosted two seasons of a design podcast, The Curbed Appeal. Asad graduated from Columbia University with a degree in architectural history and lives in Brooklyn.
