Two-hit wonders (well, in this here hit parade, where stats are never set in stone) THE STUDENTS made a couple of singles featuring our favorite rock n' roll songs of all time -- today Marc and I host their songwriter, 80 year old William "Prez" Tyus who begins to unravel the heartbustin' story behind a gang of teenagers in Cincinnati, Ohio .... a teenager writes a song about a girl in school, who will never know that the many-million seller is about her... the Beach Boys cover it... the Ronettes cover it... the message is timeless and divine... and the backstory, the blinding truth.
