Episode 36: Learning To Deal With Pain From The Past
In life, we spend a lot of time dwelling on our losses and seeing those things as negatives when really sometimes a loss is a true gain. If God blesses us, we often live long lives so the road ahead is more inviting and full of blessings if we could just get there, but we’re always looking back at what was, what should’ve been and how things WOULD be if one minor turn of events didn’t occur.
We beat ourselves up over our past mistakes, we blame others for the things we’re going through, we harbor pain, frustration, bitterness and anger among other things and instead of dealing with it head on, we hide behind it and burry it so deep in our hearts to the point where we start just putting other things on top of it and forget its there until it starts to grow.
It's essential to deal with the root of our pain, confront it and find ways to overcome it. Let's talk more about this...
