How do we navigate these waters of difficulty and adversity?
If we don’t trust him in the midst of adversity, we won’t be trustworthy in the abundance.
The better we handle adversity; the more glory God knows we can handle.
Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He is not the author of disappointment, pain, or loss. God doesn’t put adversity on us to grow us up. He knows adversity is eventually coming to you and he gives us a way to handle it in order to grow us up.
Breakthrough is coming. You are designed to live in peace, love, and joy. We must decide to live in peace, love and joy. It is a choice. Even in the midst of a battle, we can choose peace, love and joy. We will give in to one or the other. If we ride that emotional rollercoaster, one minute we are up and the next minute we are down, we are letting our emotions not the Lord control us. The Lord provides us with peace that passes all understanding and unlimited and complete joy, but it must become a lifestyle. The Lord says choose life.

He doesn’t promise to take away our adversity, however he did promise that he would never leave us and that he would guide us and show us the way to an abundant life. We must trust him.
