There wasn't much for loggers to do during the long nights in the 1800's so they would sit around the fire telling tall tales.

One of the tallest tales to come from these camps is about Paul Bunyan, legendary logger and American/ Canadian folkhero.

Paul was thought to be from six to ten feet tall, and was always accompanied by his trusty blue ox Babe.

Their story has been told and retold from Canada to the woods of Maine, and his legend still lives on today.
