“Lived Through That” is the companion podcast to my book where I look at influential 90s musicians and where they are today. On this podcast, we’ll delve deeper into a single pivotal moment in the lives of some of the artists I feature in the book, as well as other artists I love and admire. The stories they tell are open, honest, and inspiring.
On this episode, our guest is Simon Rowbottom, known as Sice (prnoucned like Dice but with an S) from the critically adored band The Boo Radleys, who SPIN magazine described as one of the greatest 90s bands that most Americans haven’t heard of, onto the show. He’s about to embark on the 30th anniversary tour with the Boo Radleys celebrating their ambitious 1993 album, Giant Steps. In addition, they’re about to release their eighth album, titled, appropriately enough, “Eight.”
Musical credits:
Dead River by Blue Dot Sessions
Theme song from Jupe Jupe.
You can find out more about the Boo Radleys here.
Be sure to look out for my books, "Lived Through That" and "80s redux" where ever you buy your books!
