It is through forgiveness that true spiritual healing is accomplished.
Thank God that the Lord doesn’t hold us to the same standards that we hold others. In some Christian circles, you must earn your way into God’s good graces through a bunch of rules and regulations and dos and don’ts. God has forgiven us, so we must forgive others.
Jesus was on the cross in excruciating pain and could still say forgive them Father for they know not what they do.
Don’t you think that if he prayed that the Father forgive them that tortured him and put him to death, that he would forgive you no matter what you have done?
Grace does not give you a license to act and be foolish. It helps us realize His unconditional love.
