The idea of surrender is a slippery slope. It's defined as letting go of control, but the truth is, we never had control anyway. So how could that be the definition? When you let go and surrender to the gifts already inherent within yourself, your life shines brightly. You radiate love and abundance. But because the undertone of surrender is one of “giving up”, you become fearful. Which is obviously false evidence appearing real.
Surrender actually means letting go of patterns inhibiting you from living your life full out. It means believing in the abundance and love that are there for you all the time. Surrender is a natural evolution of your soul, and necessary for you to become your most authentic self. It also means allowing yourself to be held by a Higher Power. Surrender asks you to trust that all is well - and the truth is, when you truly surrender, life hands you all the gifts and abundance you have been chasing after.
